after his airwalk/overrun 12-inch, henrik b obviously felt like dropping something more noisy and pounding. his remix of >let it drop< by dj delicious is just that. with the usual thick and somewhat trancey synth sounds always coming from the leading producers in sweden recently, it fits perfectly in any kind of driving electro set. includes john dahlback s huggotron remix
killertune!!! sure tip for fans of magda and richie hawtin. played and charted from someone else, benno blome, martinez, stephan bodzin, martin eyerer, patrick zigon, david keno, dj fex
played by: italoboyz, audiofly, audio werner, chris titjen, anthony collins, kreon & lemos, chris carrier, alexander flitsch, mathias kaden... here is the second release of the masomenos live mix project, snaky ep this time, three tracks by masomenos, that all evokes space & time travel… asided >aftermamas< is a housy & paddy track. as in a space odyssey, the tracks starts with a rhythmical countdown, as if the rocket was about to leave, and then gets you into a trip through the glittering stars…enjoy the trip! on b-side >space flamenco< is a percusiv track that will swing every track it is played with. a great combination with >aftermamas<. for example. >travel master< is a deep & smooth invitation to >take a ride<. perfect to warm up a crowd with a pumping & happy groove
superb house 12inch on agnès label big with ame, gerb janson, dixon, johnny d, la pena,.. tip ! here we are, the 2nd baaz ep on sthlmaudio recordings. again digging deep in house music, baaz is confirming yet again his great talent. the 1st track feature a baaz good old friend. knarf skipson and they team up for a superb house anthem for your pleasure and ours. amongst the others stunning two tracks on the ep, youll find a just about remix by agnès. which is a stripped down simple mix. raise your hands and pray for some sun =)
long and sleepless nights were the inspiration for slaapgebrek wich means sleep deprivation in dutch. the results of these sessions are two moody & hallucinogenic tracks, wich represent a state of mind only to be experienced after many restless nights. the original mix with its freaked out shuffled drumpatterns, rave stabs and maximal modulated bassline is peaktime dancefloor fudder for any crazed techno night. frustrated bleeps and fx give it a nervous twilight zone like feel, climaxing and clashing throughout the track. the flipside takes things on a lighter, more emotion ridden tip. the rhythm is stripped down of all nastiness and the bassline friendlier and melodic. halfway through the break the violins kick in, resembling the break of dawn after another night of turning and twisting without getting any much deserved rest. perfect afterhour material.
loved by: robert owens, laurent garnier, dj t., tiger stripes, monika kruse, remute, butch, piemont, turntablerocker, matt star, marko nastic, martin eyerer, ralph lawson, dj fex, judge jules, pascal feos, david keno, djinxx, chris wood
the original version of cubik room its a cool, electro flavoured workout with an earthy bassline and skipping beats!! rino cerrone give us an brilliant example of th art of the remix, he twisting the original sounds ever so slightly and embellishing the arrangement with a little extra studio trickery to increase the pressure...god save rino!!! the other remix is made by mauro alpha, well known for this palette on boxer sport! a secure dancefloor killer!
u.f.x. is formed by a group of creative guys from neaples, that gives us this magnific soulful track. classic, but with a powerful rhythm. live bassline and guitars very skilfully made. the great voice of rose marriot perfectly accompany all the melodies of this huge track!

phat >rekorder< like tec-trax-new label !! american artist ariel and german electronic music producer jan muller have joined forces to produce the criminal sounds of prime suspect. with a blend of industrial, techno, new wave, electro, punk and live vocals this duo creates a distinctive, futuristic hybrid of dance. the compelling mix of electronic punk features both jans & ariels emotive vocals, adding a taste of yesterdays anarchist sarcastic flavor, but never interferes with the music. next to prime suspect, jan is the co-producer of internationally renowned project x-dream ...
again the tracks were selected carefully, each of them strong on personality and waiting to burst out and put the willies up anyone who believes that techno can be pigeonholed. cue bjorn svin (of mand over board fame) and a brooding monster of a tune that briefly saw a release on his excellent 1999 lp benene pa nakken and was included on the la monde (aka len fakis) at the wheels of steel mix cd the following year. believe that this track is a killer one of those inspired pieces of techno that sticks in your head for days after hearing it for the first time next up label boss jerome hill lets his bass out in the comedic rel und pol, a dancefloor workout with a syncopated speech running throughout. flip over for rob stow and im going to kill her put simply this is nasty (in a nice way) a riff that tears you a new one and edits and tricks galore, this ones gonna give the speakers a battering! last but certainly not least, switzerlands ki yota from mercurochrome and mental industries steps up to deliver us an apocalyptic anthem with wowwow bass, that swiss percussion and lead riffs all snaking around, finally building to a satisfying climax over and out
